Hi, I'm Anandhitha Arasu, a sophomore (Class of 2026) at Coppell High School in Irving, Texas.
As I navigate the joys and challenges of adolescence and high school, I noticed a troubling trend among my peers. Many students struggle silently with stress, anxiety, and self-esteem issues, and their mental and physical well-being is often overlooked in the pursuit of other priorities and academic success.
My journey has not been without its hurdles. I have experienced firsthand the pressures and uncertainties that come with adolescence. However, it wasn't until I worked on a research project about the anxiety and stress levels among high school students that I truly understood the extent of these challenges. The survey results revealed a silent struggle among many of my peers, and I knew I couldn't stand by while so many suffered in silence.
In that moment of clarity—a radiant ripple of inspiration—I decided to create the Radiant Ripple Foundation. This foundation is dedicated to shaping the future of youth by addressing their mental and physical health needs.
Today, as I continue to passionately lead the Radiant Ripple Foundation, I understand that the journey towards empowering youth is ongoing. I believe that even small positive changes can create a ripple effect, transforming a young person's life. With this mission in mind, I provide podcasts, blogs, and educational resources by collaborating with counselors, educators, healthcare professionals, and youth themselves. Together, we gain insights into the mental and physical health of young people, raising awareness and offering valuable support to address the challenges faced by today's youth.
